Newly crowned champion Leon Haslam won Race 2 in the final Showdown weekend at Brands Hatch as chaos took hold in wet conditions.
The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider, who sealed his maiden BSB crown on Saturday, held off Tommy Bridewell, with crashes coming thick and fast throughout the 20 laps, to pick up his first ever win at the Grand Prix circuit.
Jason O'Halloran completed the podium as Jake Dixon - Haslam's title rival coming into the weekend - crashed out on lap 15.
Other riders who crashed out included Andrew Irwin, James Ellison and Michael Laverty.
Race 3, the last of the season, is at 4pm on Sunday.
