Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has revealed that he has joined controversial online dating app Tinder and his experiences so far have not been overly positive.

Warne admitted that one of his dates was “horrific” and that he is facing serious problems convincing people on the app that it is really him.
Most women have doubted the authenticity of his account, Warne said, perhaps helpfully explaining that he is currently “very, very, very single”.
The 45-year-old father of three explained to The Times magazine: “People say, 'Why are you trying to impersonate Shane Warne?
"I go, 'OK, yeah, I am.' And then they go, 'No! It's really you!' And you go, 'OK, it is.' And then they go, 'No, it's not!' So I'm on there for the fun value.”
He went on to speak of how exactly his account started up and the reasons for it.

"Midnight or one o'clock in the morning, me and a lot of my mates are sitting around the bar after a long day playing, and everyone was talking about these different apps, Grindr, Tinder," he said.
"I said, no. But we got on the App Store, joined up."
The former leg-spinner said he is not actively looking for love at the moment but that he is not averse to meeting the right person via the app.
"I'm not looking for it. But if it happens, it happens," Warne said.

"I've got three wonderful kids; I'm having fun; I don't feel like I need it.
"But it gets quite lonely at times, when you travel all the time. There's one or two nights a week when you haven't got your kids and you haven't got your mates, and you just want to chill.
“It's nice to share things with someone. Say how you're feeling about things, how their day was,” he added.
“Cuddling up on the couch. I like that stuff.”
