Petter Northug and Maiken Caspersen Falla both won for Norway in the cross-country city sprint races in Drammen.
Northug won the men's event, heading home a Norwegian 1-2-3 that also included Ola Vigen Hattestad and Eiriki Brandsdal.
"I felt really good energy today. It’s fun to win competitions again," said Northug.
In the women's event Falla led home another Norwegian, Ingvild Flugstad Oestbergm with Natalia Mateeva of Russia third.
" I love the track here in Drammen. It is amazing to win here three times in the row," said the winner.
Sweden's Stina Nilsson, the World Cup leader, had actually finished in third place, but was penalised for obstruction on the closing stretch and demoted to last.
Despite the penalty, Nilsson retained the overall sprint World Cup lead over Oestberg.
