Klaebo and Falla take sprint wins at World Cup

Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo extended his lead at the top of Cross Country World Cup standings as he took victory in the 1.6km sprint in Otepää.

The Norwegian claimed victory in the final in a time of 3:20.05, as he finished 1.51 seconds clear of Russia's Alexander Bolshunov.
It means Klaebo continues his hot run in the cross country, as he took the 12th individual sprint World Cup win of his career - moving him up to joint-third in the all-time list for wins.
Norway's Paal Golberg completed the top three, completing the race 2.53 seconds off his compatriot in first.
Klaebo now has 1,034 points in the overall standings, more than 200 points clear of his nearest rival Bolshunov (830).
Meanwhile in the women's event three-time Olympic medallist Maiken Caspersen Falla took the win in the 1.3km sprint.
The Norwegian athlete took the 17th World Cup individual sprint triumph of her career, as she finished in 3:05.16 to claim victory by 1.4 seconds over Russia's Natalia Nepryaeva.
Sweden's Maja Dahlqvist rounded off the podium in Estonia, but finished almost six seconds behind the winner.
The result sees Nepryaeva move up to second in the overall World Cup standings, with Norway's Ingvild Flugstad still leading with 1,152 points.
