Marit Bjoergen produced a dominant performance as she cruised to World Cup cross-country glory on home snow in Oslo in the 30km event.
The Norwegian finished in a time of 1hr22.59, more than two minutes clear of Finnish duo Krista Parmakoski and Kerttu Niskanen.
Overall World Cup leader Heidi Weng came in fourth and retains a sizable lead in both the overall and the distance standings.
She sits 300 points clear of Parmakoski in the overall heading into the final round of the World Cup in Vancouver next weekend.
But this result extends Bjoergen’s recent dominance of the cross-country skiing, after she claimed four golds in Lahti at the World Championships in February and March.
It was the 36-year-old’s 107th World Cup victory in all and she now sits second behind Weng in the distance standings, 105 points back.
