Andrew Musgrave will not be anyone's favourite to win a medal in PyeongChang but a stunning result in 2017 made the world of cross-country sit up and take notice.

A veteran of the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics, where he never troubled the podium, Musgrave had a fairly unspectacular set of career results until last season's World Championships in Lahti, Finland.
He enjoyed the best ever performance from a British nordic skier, coming fourth in the men's 50km.
A previous career highlight was surprisingly winning the Norwegian national sprint freestyle race in 2014 ahead of a number of elite athletes - although as a foreigner, he was not eligible for a medal.
Musgrave, 27, now hopes to make a much bigger impact at the Olympics at the third time of asking. He said in September:
If I improve this coming season as I think I have done through the summer, then hopefully I should actually be one of the realistic medal chances that I wasn’t in Sochi. In skating last year I was still an outsider but an outsider with a much better chance of a medal than I was in 2014. I showed that by performing at the World Championships and I’m planning on being one of the main contenders this season.
