Winter sports news - Two wins in a row for Norway's Sjur Roethe

Sjur Roethe waited more than three years to taste World Cup glory again but the Norwegian made it two in six days with victory in the men's 30km cross-country.

Roethe crossed the line in 1:09:53.5 in Beitostolen, holding off compatriot Martin Johnsrud Sundby by 35 seconds.
Russia's Andrey Melnichenko finished third, 14 seconds back from Sundby, while his teammate Evgeniy Belov was fourth.
Roethe moves to second in the overall standings, which are topped by Russia's Alexander Bolshunov on 361 points.
The Norwegian is 32 points behind Bolshunov with his compatriot Emil Iversen third on 328 points.
