Russia clinch one-two Cross-Country World Cup finish

Artem Maltsev delivered a stirring performance on the final lap as Russia dominated the men's 4x7.5km relay to claim a one-two finish at the Cross-Country World Cup in Ulricehamn.

Russia's second team – comprising of Maltsev, Evgeniy Belov, Alexander Bessmertnykh and Denis Spitsov – pipped the first team to top spot after skiing the baton in 1:17:53.2.
Andrey Larkov, Alexander Bolshunov, Andrey Melnichenko and Sergey Ustiugov, who made up the first team, took second place behind their compatriots in a time of 1:18:14.0.

Russia II beat Russia I to cross-country win in Ulricehamn

Third place went to the Norwegian quartet of Hans Christer Holund, Didrik Tonseth, Sjur Roethe and Simen Hegstad Krueger, who claimed the last podium spot in 1:18:29.0.
Finland finished 56.4 seconds behind the winners as they came fourth, while home favourites Sweden completed the course in 1:19:32.8 as they finished in fifth.
