Both the hosts and leaders Sweden maintained their unbeaten runs with 8-4 victories, Sweden beating Germany in session 12 and Canada overcoming Korea in session 13 to continue pressing Olympic champions Sweden for the top spot in the round robin standings.
After 13 sessions, Sweden lie top with eight wins to Canada's seven, all but guaranteeing them a qualifying spot in the next round.
"We played a solid game there," Swedish skip Anna Hasselborg said after their clash with Germany.
"It's always nice to get the hammer and get the two and to be forcing after that.
"Of course, there isn't the same adrenaline in these games as in an Olympic semi-final for example, so you have to be extra-focused and work extra-hard on the details, and we try to do that.
"We knew we'd be playing a lot of games coming straight from the Olympics, it's a grind, but we're excited about the grind.
"I think we're managing the challenge really well - it is a challenge to play well the whole time."
Meanwhile Canadian skip Jennifer Jones praised the home audience for encouraging her side on against third-placed Korea.
"I thought we struggled a little bit with draw weight, but I think we finished strong," she said.
"We just made some big shots when we had to, and it really changed the game.
"Anytime you get to play on arena ice in front of this amazing crowd you get excited, it doesn't matter who we're playing.
"I can't even believe our afternoons are like this - this is unbelievable. One of the best events we've ever been at."
Session 12 also saw Switzerland beat Denmark 7-5, Korea narrowly overcome the USA 9-8 and Scotland comfortably win against Japan 10-7.
And in Session 13, the USA beat China 8-4, Denmark just beat Italy 8-7 and Russia beat the Czech Republic 9-5 to ensure the battle for a top-six qualifying place is still going.
Russia are in fourth place while the Czech Republic and United States tying in fifth and Japan one below them.
