Canada through to final at home World Curling Championship

Canada are through to the World Women's Curling Championship final after a final stone 9-7 victory over the United States by 9-7 in the semi-final in North Bay, Canada.

In the ninth end, Canada skip Jennifer Jones made a mistake to give United States a steal of one point to level at 7-7 but the hosts had the hammer for the final end.
It proved crucial as, with the last stone of the tenth end, Jones hit out an American stone to score two points and win the game by 9-7.
The hosts face Olympic champions Sweden, who saw off Russian in the earlier semi-final, in Sunday's final which will be preceded by the bronze medal match.
Jones said: "We're really excited, another opportunity to play in front of this amazing crowd.
"It was a game that was hard to hold the lead and it came down to the wire so we're pretty happy with the win.
"They made some great shots late in that game and it came down to the last end and last shot, so what a game for the crowd.
"Sweden are playing well right now, they're the reigning Olympic gold medallists so they're always a tough team but always fun to play. It'll be a good game tomorrow.
"Standing on top of the podium, representing your country is just the biggest moment in sport, so we'd love to do that and we'd love to win it here in Canada."
In the first end, Jones hit out an American stone with her own last effort to open the scoring in the game with three points and after two in the third end the hosts led 5-1.
But two points in the sixth and eighth ends brought the score back to 7-6 but Canada held their nerve to book their spot in the final against Sweden.
USA skip Jamie Sinclair said: "That wasn't the start that we were looking for, but it was a heck of a game and a heck of a battle. I'm super-proud of the girls for not giving up."
