Eve Muirhead has issued her most unequivocal statement yet claiming that she'll be back in action for Scotland's Curling World Cup second leg in Omaha.

The Scottish skip, whose rink fell to Japan in the Olympic bronze medal match earlier this year in PyeongChang, has competed only sparingly since the winter games.
A knee operation in May kept her out until the recent Stockholm Ladies' Curling Cup, and she looks set to continue her comeback at the Canad Inns Women's Classic in Manitoba this week.
And, whilst the Sochi bronze medallist had previously admitted to fears that arthritis would cause her career to be cut short, Muirhead is back and fighting fit.
"It's all going to plan so far and if this continues I definitely will be taking to the ice in USA," she said.
"Being back on the ice again for the first time in Stockholm felt great! I love competing and I missed it for the little time I had to miss!

"I'm working very closely with the best support services and team-mates to make sure all the right decisions are made. Patience is key!"
Scotland's women failed to make it out of a tough group at the world cup first leg in China, where Canada ultimately defeated Sweden in the final.
Jennifer Dodds led the rink in Suzhou, where Scotland faced up against Sweden, Japan and hosts China, but Muirhead is relishing the chance to re-join the fold.

"The Curling World Cup events allow us another chance to wear our country's colours," she continued.
"Whenever anyone gets the chance to have their country on their back should be very proud of that. Of course, prize money is great, and this adds a little more of an incentive!
"There are obviously some little changes at the Curling World Cup events too, in comparison to your usual tour events, and they all seem to be making the game slightly different, especially the limited time. It's a good new addition, I think."
