Curling news - Scotland open European Championships with win over Norway

The Scottish men's team opened their European Championships campaign with a win over Norway in Estonia on Saturday.

Skipped by Bruce Mouat, the team were making their debut at the turnament having won bronze in the World Men's Championhip earlier this year.
Also on the team representing Scotland are Second Bobbie Lammie, as well as Grant Hardie at third, Hammy McMillan at lead and alternate Ross Whyte.
With Norway taking a 3-2 advantage going into the break, Scotland took control again in the second half of the game.
They went into the tenth end drawing 7-7 but edged to victory with the final stone.
Speaking after the game, Mouat said: It’s always nice to start with a win, it settles the nerves a bit. I think both teams were playing pretty well and we both had good moments and some not-so-good moments.”
