Kyle Smith’s side put in arguably their strongest performance of the tournament so far, scoring thee stones in ends one and six before Norway went on to concede after the seventh.
The result leaves GB with five wins from eight games – victory over the United States on Wednesday will be enough to book a last-four spot.
GB got off to the perfect start with three points in the opening end, and it got better when Thomas Ulsrud, the Norwegian skip, made an error with his final stone of the second end.
The teams then traded two stones apiece in the following two ends, and though Norway then closed the gap to 6-3, a further three stones for GB in the sixth end put them in a commanding lead.
GB then stole a point against the hammer in the seventh, with Norway going on to concede the tie.
