The valuable victory is GB’s fourth from seven round-robin encounters, leaving them well-placed for a semi-final spot with two games to go.
GB responded in kind every time Denmark went ahead, trading single stones in the first four ends before finding themselves at 4-4 after six.
A single Denmark stone was then followed a missed opportunity for Kyle Smith’s side, as a late error meant GB scored just one point to level up at 5-5 after eight ends, when a potential for more was on the cards.
Denmark scored once more to lead 6-5 going into the final end, and with GB having the hammer, they endeavoured to pick up two or more points, as a tie would have handed the Danes the advantage going into an extra end.
A perfectly-weighted shot from Thomas Muirhead put GB in a strong position to take the two required for victory, and after Rasmus Stjerne narrowly missed a double take-out, Smith rolled in the winning stone.
