Scotland suffer late defeat at hands of the Netherlands

Scotland face an uphill battle if they are to top last year's bronze medal in the Men's World Curling Championships after they lost their second match on the spin in Canada.

Bruce Mouat's rink suffered a late collapse to fall 5-4 to the Netherlands after Dutch fourth Wouter Goesgens sealed a comeback win with three points in the final end.
The defeat leaves Scotland down in ninth of the 13 sides involved in the round-robin format, with a tough match against Olympic champions the USA next on the cards.
Canada kept up their perfect start to the championship as they chalked up their fourth win from four in session three of Sunday's action.
The 35-time champions toppled China 8-6, having beaten Italy 9-5 earlier in the day to keep up their bid to go one better than last year's silver medal.
The North American quartet led from the fourth end onwards against China, but were pushed all the way, and skip Kevin Koe believes there's room for improvement with the Championship still in its nascent stages.
"We're happy with the win, they're a good team, their skip made some good shots," he said.
"Every time you win, you're happy and then you move on. But that was probably our sloppiest game, we've played a lot of games so far, so maybe we didn't quite have top concentration and maybe it showed a bit."
Elsewhere, the USA recovered from their opening-match defeat to take two from two in Sunday's action.
They beat South Korea 6-3 before grinding out an 8-6 victory over a resilient German rink.
Japan, Sweden and Switzerland sit just behind Canada in the standings, all three having played a game less, after each rink notched their third win of the competition.
Reigning champions Sweden downed Scandinavian rivals Norway 11-5 after Japan had earlier beaten the same opponents 9-6, while Switzerland edged out Russia 9-7.
