The American skip led his team to a 3-1 triumph over world champions Sweden, meaning they have booked their place at the Curling World Cup Grand Final in May.
It was the same outcome as when the two nations contested the Olympic final in PyeongChang earlier this year, as the hosts overcame Niklas Edin and his Swedish team to claim victory.
The final was a cagey affair with the United States scoring the only point in the opening four ends, before Sweden drew level in the fifth.
But the Americans grabbed the points when it mattered, with one from each of the last two ends to get the win.
"There was some great curling out here and some really great teams," Shuster said.
"I'm really proud to get a win any time you have your country on your back. It was a lot of fun [to play in front of home crowd] - they were into it.
"For me, it's always been easier every time we have lots of fans in the stands and we definitely got that feeling here this week, especially this afternoon."
Earlier on finals day Saksuki Fujisawa led her Japan team to victory over Korea in the women's final while Norwegian duo Kristin Skaslien and Magnus Nedregotten were crowned mixed doubles winners over Swiss pair Jenny Perret and Martin Rios.
