Switzerland and Norway moved straight into the semi-finals of the World Women's Curling Championships following the conclusion of the round-robin stage in Sandviken.
A 5-3 victory over South Korea in the final round of matches on Friday night saw Switzerland move into the last four with an unblemished record, with 12 wins in as many matches.
Meanwhile, Norway defeated Germany 6-3 in a result that had major repercussions for both teams.
Victory saw Norway seal second place with eight wins and four defeats, meaning they also automatically reached the last four, while defeat ended Germany's hopes of progression, ultimately finishing 10th.
The final round of matches on Friday night also saw Scotland's disappointing campaign come to an end with a 10-7 loss to Turkey, while Denmark beat hosts Sweden 9-4.
Scotland finished their event in a disappointing 11th place, with just three wins compared to nine defeats.
Saturday will see four teams - Canada, Italy, Sweden, Japan - battle it out in an additional qualification round to try and reach the semi-finals, with action underway at 09:00 GMT.
Hosts Sweden will face Italy with Switzerland awaiting the winner of that, while Canada - who finished third at the end of the pool stage - take on Japan for a chance to play Norway.
The semi-final matches will take place later on Saturday afternoon.
