Casper finishes the job

An eight place finish in the final stage was enough to help Jimmy Casper clinch the Record Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen on Sunday.

The Unibet rider finished five seconds ahead of young Belgian Quickstep rider Wouter Weylandt in the overall classification.

Weylandt took the final stage of the race by winning a bunch sprint after after all attempts at breakaways were reeled in.

Stefan Van Dijk of Team Wiesenhof Felt finished third overall, while last year's winner Nico Eeckhout could only manage a 4th place finish this time around.
