"Originally, Danilo Hondo was suspended from April 1 2005 to March 31 2006 by Swiss Cycling after receiving a positive test for carphedon " during the Vuelta a Murcia in Spain in March 2005, said a UCI press release on Tuesday.
The ban was then upheld by the WADA (World Anti-Doping Association) and extended by a year.
