Saunier dominate Asturias

After sprint victories by Relax-Gam rider Angel Vicioso Arcos and Selle Italia's Alberto Loddo, Alberto Fernandez took the third stage at the summit of Alto del Acebo.

Team-mate Koldo Gil Perez was second and claimed the overall lead by a mere second from Fernandez.

Italian Liquigas' Vincenzo Nibali won the 31st GP Industria & Artigianato in Tuscany.

Team-mate Francesco Pellizotti attacked on the San Baronto ascent with 40km to go and only Nibali could follow him with the duo finishing 32 seconds ahead of the peloton.

Kurt-Asle Arvesen won the GLS Express GP, known as the Danish Paris-Roubaix.

The Norvegian CSC rider finished nine seconds ahead of home favourite René Jørgensen after attacking a breakaway group inside the final 25km.
