89KM TO GO: HERE COME THE DANES
Jonas Vingegaard is a fitting winner of a Tour that started over three weeks ago in Copenhagen. And now the yellow jersey is riding in a line with the other Danish riders left in the race: Mikkel Bjerg (UAE Team Emirates), Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo), Andreas Kron (Lotto Soudal), Chris Juul-Jensen (BikeExchange-Jayco) and Mikkel Honore (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl). It will be interesting to see where Danish cycling goes from here - in the years after Bradley Wiggins' Tour triumph in 2012 there was something of a boom for Britain with the likes of Froome, Thomas, Yates and Geoghegan Hart all winning Grand Tours...

98KM TO GO: FIVE REMAINING JUMBO-VISMA RIDERS IN A LINE
The remaining teammates of yellow jersey Jonas Vingegaard and green jersey Wout van Aert - the Belgian Tiesj Benoot, Frenchman Christophe Laporte and American Sepp Kuss - have come to the front and the five now ride together, arms around each other, for the traditional photo opportunity. The three domestiques are each holding the race numbers of the absent riders who all contributed to this clean sweep: Primoz Roglic, Steven Kruijswijk and Nathan van Hooydonck. It's lovely to see.

VINGEGAARD AND VAN AERT SPEAK AHEAD OF THE FINAL STAGE
Bernie Eisel interviewed the yellow and green jersey today and asked them to give each other an appraisal. “I think Wout has definitely been the strongest rider in this race. To have him by my side has been incredible these past three weeks," Vingegaard said.
To which Van Aert replied: “It’s hard to beat the words Jonas put for me. It’s a really special three weeks for us – and the way we destroyed everyone on the two hardest stages I will remember forever."
Asked to pick out a particular memory from the race, Van Aert said: "Our team spirit, how we enjoyed every day, every minute. It was a lot of stress, of course, but how we dealt with it was super special to experience."
Vingegaard added: “Putting on the yellow jersey for the first time was a special moment, but what really stands out for me is the way we rode as a team. We’ve had three incredible weeks and the whole team has been so strong. I’m really proud of how the whole team rode."

106KM TO GO: ROWE STOPS TO APPLY SOME SUN CREAM
That gives you an idea of how leisurely the pace is at the moment. It's always the same on the final stage into Paris - and things won't really get going until they hit the circuit in the centre of Paris. It's certainly going to bring down the average pace which, up until this point, has broken all records.
Luke Rowe putting on suncream there is just what you would expect from a Brit abroad in such sunny weather - we've all been there before. He's part of an Ineos Grenadiers team that finish with their full quota of riders. Three other teams have managed this: Groupama-FDJ, Intermarche-Wanty-Gobert and B&B Hotels-KTM.

THREE NON-STARTERS TODAY: BOIVIN, WOODS, IZAGIRRE
It must be terrible to have got so far around France only to be forced out so close to the finish. Spare a thought for the Canadian Michael Woods, who tested positive for Covid this morning and had to pull out. His compatriot and Israel-Premier Tech teammate Guillaume Boivin has also withdrawn with illness - he hasn't tested positive but feels rough. Of course, some riders actually choose not to ride the final stage: Gorka Izagirre (Movistar) pulled out after yesterday's time trial because he wanted to return home to prepare for a local bike race on Monday.

112KM TO GO: STELLAR BREAKAWAY TRIO REELED IN
It was funny to watch that interaction between the three men who, between them, hold all four jersey classifications of this Tour. Van Aert was clearly playing up for the cameras, but after Pogacar then counter-attacked you could sense the alarm bells ringing for Vingegaard, who put in a relatively big effort to ride back alongside teammate Van Aert and bring the white jersey to heel. I'm sure it was all staged but still, just goes to show that even today, the man in yellow is being ultra cautious. After enjoying a few minutes out ahead, they're joined by Simon Geshke, who is in polka dots because of protocol because the man who beat him to the KOM competition is in yellow.

STAGE 21 UNDER WAY: VAN AERT ATTACKS FROM THE GUN!
Why stop a habit of a lifetime? Green jersey Wout van Aert throws down the hammer from the outset with a stinging attack which Tadej Pogacar, in white, covers - forcing Jonas Vingegaard, in yellow, to follow. It's clearly all a bit tongue-in-cheek but at the same time, you never know with these three...

FINAL STAGE: EIGHT LAPS OF THE COBBLESTONE CIRCUIT IN PARIS
Here's what's in store for the final stage - just over 115km as the riders go on a small detour out of Paris from La Defense before heading into the city centre for eight laps of the famous circuit, culminating with the showpiece sprint finale on the Champs-Elysees with the ninth crossing of the line. Could we see yellow lead out green for the win, or perhaps one of the sprinters will finally get some joy in a mountainous race that had given them slim pickings.

JUMBO-VISMA DOMINATION CONTINUED YESTERDAY AS VINGEGAARD SECURED YELLOW
It was another one-two for Jumbo-Visma yesterday with Wout van Aert winning the final TT in Rocamadour by 19 seconds ahead of his teammate Jonas Vingegaard, who eased up towards the end once his maillot jaune was guaranteed. It sparked emotional scenes between the Jumbo-Visma riders - who have been nothing short of sensational this July - with the men in yellow and green both getting rather tearful during their interviews. Can you blame them?

BONJOUR LE TOUR! WHO WILL BE CELEBRATING ON THE CHAMPS AFTER WIEBES?
After Lorena Wiebes won the opening stage of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes, the attention shifts to the men who will now race the final stage of the Tour ahead of what should be a ding-dog sprint on the Champs-Elysees ahead of Jonas Vingegaard's coronation.
