The eleven French riders already selected are: Laurent Brochard (AG2R), Sandy Casar, Nicolas Vogondy, Eddy Seigneur and Frédéric Finot (RAGT), Cyril Dessel (Phonak), Christophe Le Mével (Crédit Agricole), David Moncoutié (Cofidis), Jerome Pineau and Franck Renier (La Boulangère), Yannick Talabardon (Auber 93).

The world championships in Verona start with the Individual Time Trial on September 29th, before the road race on October 3rd.
