Dan Goodfellow, who scooped bronze alongside Daley in the 10m synchro final at Rio 2016, will now join Olympic champion Laugher in the 3m synchro event.
The move was prompted by Olympic gold medallist and two-time Commonwealth champion Chris Mears announcing a break from the sport after the 2018 European Championships.
Daley, who himself missed the European Championships to focus on fatherhood, will now be joined by up-and-coming star and World Championship silver medallist Matty Lee.
The new-look diving duos will strut their stuff for the first time at the 2019 British Diving National Cup in February as Daley and Laugher become acclimatised to their new partnerships.
Lee, 20, scooped European silver in Glasgow in August with partner Lois Toulson in the 10m mixed synchro final, which marked a memorable rise up the ranks.
Making the rare decision to switch from the dizzying heights of the 10m platform, Goodfellow received magnanimous support from British Diving performance director Alexei Evangulov for the move to the 3m springboard.
He said: “It's very rare for a platform diver to transition to a springboard dive, never mind into a synchro pairing.
“It is a unique situation and British Diving are very excited about this new pairing of Jack and Dan, and how they will perform together.
“Goodfellow has proven that he can deliver very high degree of difficulty and the pair have now already started training together, with their first sessions at the recent warm weather camp in Antalya, Turkey.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the new pairs in action at next February’s National Cup.”
