The release of the 2008 calendar sees all of this year's races retained but with the Le Mans race making a comeback for the first time since 2006 as the championship expands from ten rounds to 11.
"With eleven rounds held in six countries, the DTM now is represented on all European core markets of the car manufacturers and features the arguably most attractive calendar of all times," said series boss Hans Werner Aufrecht.
"Following DTM's very successful Le Mans debut in 2006, that attracted a crowd of 35,000 spectators, we look forward to returning to Le Mans, in 2008."

This year's championship is currently headed by Abt Audi duo Mattias Ekstrom and Martin Tomczyk, with only four points separating them with two rounds of the championship, at Barcelona and Hockenheim, remaining.
