Backing boost for ERC Junior Llarena

Efrén Llarena’s bid to win the FIA ERC3 Junior Championship has received another boost following confirmation that Llanes MotorSport will support the rising star of Spanish rallying and his talented co-driver Sara Fernández in 2019.

Top Spanish organisation Llanes MotorSport won the national title with Miguel Fuster in 2018 but is adding Llarena and Fernández to its stable as it diversifies into helping young talent.

Llarena, who is supported by Spanish federation RFEDA under the Rally Team Spain banner, said: “We are grateful for the support of the Spanish federation, Llanes MotorSport and Mavisa Sport. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us and we will do our best to fight for the ERC3 Junior Championship.”

Mavisa Sport will continue to run Llarena and Fernández’s Pirelli-equipped PEUGEOT 208 R2.
