ERC champion* Lukyanuk: If you can’t compete against them, play for them

With the FIA European Rally Championship secured*, Alexey Lukyanuk went from driver to guitar player prior to the start of Rally Liepāja last night.

Although he’s not competing on the ERC finale, Lukyanuk is in Latvia to follow the progress of fellow Russian Sergei Remennik, who he coaches.

Lukyanuk also found time to show off his guitar playing skills to the hundreds of fans gathered in Liepāja last night, performing a cover of Queen’sWe Are the Champions.
