One of the world’s most iconic – and challenging – stages will once again play a starring role when the 2018 FIA European Rally Championship gets underway on the Azores Airlines Rallye next month.
A blast along the rim of a volcanic crater lake the undoubted highlight, Sete Cidades covers a distance of 23.87 kilometres and will be used twice on Friday 23 March.
The first visit will count as stage six at 11h42 local time with the return forming stage nine and the final test of leg one at 15h44. Andhere’sa reminder of the challenge in store.
