Kristóf Klausz will make his return to the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship after co-driver Botond Csányi was given the all-clear to return to action.
Csányi fainted after the Hungarian pair crashed on the opening stages of Rally Rzeszow in Poland last month, which forced them to miss the following event in Czech Republic.
“Unfortunately, we crashed and my navigator fainted, we accompanied him to the hospital but he was not seriously injured,” Klausz explained. “All is okay now and we are ready and very excited to come back to the ERC.
“Rome is a completely new race for me and I look forward so much to see this event. I am curious as well because the last time in Poland we could not really show our speed. And as we would like to come back next year, it is important for us to collect more data and experience from this event.”
