Stage nine of the FIA European Rally Championship’s Leg Two on the Cyprus Rally has been delayed due to an earlier red flag on stage seven.
An accident involving local Cypriot entry George Agathocleous caused stewards to stop Sunday’s opening test, while ERC3 category runners Christos Mannouris, Emma Falcón and Norbert Bereczki were all held at the start line, waiting their turn to start Leg Two.
To allow Mannouris, Falcón and Bereczki to catch up to their ERC cohorts, SS9 and SS10 have both been delayed by 37 minutes, with stage nine kicking off at 11h26 local time (10h26 CEST) and stage 10 now set to begin at 12h24 local time (11h24 CEST).
