Star names head superb entry list for ERC Barum Czech Rally Zlín

The entry list for next week's Barum Czech Rally Zlín - round eight of the FIA European Rally Championship - has been revealed, with a total of 132 crews led by a number of big names.

Reigning champion and standings leader Kajetan Kajetanowicz is the top seed in his LOTOS Rally Team Ford Fiesta R5, but will be joined in the Czech Republic by his two title rivals, with Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) and Ralfs Sirmacis (Sports Racing Technologies ŠKODA Fabia R5) looking to keep up the pressure on the Rally Rzeszow winner.

Jan Kopecký will bid for his fifth win on the event in a ŠKODA Motorsport Fabia R5, but could well face competition from French asphalt ace Bryan Bouffier, making his third appearance of the season in the Gemini Clinic Rally Team Citroën DS3 R5. Jaromír Tarabus (T&T Czech National Team ŠKODA Fabia R5) joins Kopecký among those upholding home honour.

The ERC Junior Championship moves on to its penultimate round with Opel drivers Chris Ingram, Marijan Griebel and Julius Tannert leading the way. Three-time ERC champion Luca Rossetti (in a Toyota GT86 CS-R3) and Murat Bostanci will battle with them in ERC3, with Giacomo Scattolon and Tibor Érdi Jr going head-to-head in ERC2.
