Kihira clinches second Figure Skating Grand Prix title

Japanese figure skating sensation Rika Kihira dazzled her way to a second Grand Prix title of the season as she claimed the ladies singles ISU Grand Prix Internationaux de France crown.
The 16-year-old followed up the winning the NHK Trophy earlier this month with a stellar free skating score of 138.28, giving her a total of 205.92, to narrowly edge ahead of compatriot Mai Mihara.
Overnight leader and Four Continents women's singles champion Mihara claimed the silver medal with an overall score of 202.31 as she finished third in the free skating.
There was more success for USA in Grenoble as Bradie Tenell followed up on Nathan Chen's gold medal winning run with an overall score of 197.98, taking third overall.
It marks the first Grand Prix podium finish of the season for the 2018 PyeongChang bronze medallist after finishing fourth at Skate America.
