The 8 Hours of Oschersleben will be one big motorcycle fiesta lasting from 6 to 9 June. The race will take place on Sunday 9 June to make the most of the long Pentecost weekend. The German circuit will also host the European Endurance Legends Cup and the national IDM Superbike Championship.
The 8 Hours of Oschersleben, usually raced on Saturday, will be flagged off in 2019 on a Sunday: 9 June at 1pm on the Germany’s Motorsport Arena. The fourth round of the 2018-2019 FIM EWC will be the main race of an entire weekend devoted to motorsport, combining current-day and classic Endurance and a national championship.
From 6 to 9 June, Oschersleben will also host the third and final round of the European Endurance Legends Cup and the IDM, Germany’s highly competitive Superbike Championship.
The first free practice sessions will start on Thursday 6 June. The FIM EWC qualifying sessions are scheduled for Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. The 8 Hours of Oschersleben will be raced on Sunday 9 June from 1pm to 9pm CET.
Live coverage of the race will start on Eurosport at 12.45pm. The fourth round of the 2018-2019 FIM EWC is a decisive one, being the final round for the Superstock teams and the last-but-one race for the Formula EWC class before the Suzuka 8 Hours Grand Finale in Japan in end-July.
