New rider trio for YART Yamaha

Yamaha Factory has presented its 2018 teams. While GMT94 Yamaha will continue the season with the squad that won the Bol d’Or, YART Yamaha has announced a fresh rider line-up starting from the 24 Heures Motos.

Takuya Fujita is YART Yamaha’s new recruit. The 23-year-old Japanese rider has just joined the Austrian team, and will race the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans on 21 and 22 April alongside Broc Parkes and Marvin Fritz.

First spotted in Japan back in 2010, Takuya Fujita is one of the stars on the Japanese Superbike circuit. He is already familiar with the YART Yamaha squad, having ridden the Yamaha #7 to 4th place at the 2016 Suzuka 8 Hours.
