With the race past the halfway point and at least five pit stops so far, the top Superstock teams have surged into the top 15, with Team 3Art Yam’Avenue leading the way.

The Superstock teams, which do not have the quick tyre change system, are putting on a fantastic performance at Oschersleben even as the front-running factory-backed teams set an infernal pace. Team 3Art Yam’Avenue got up to 4th place one hour into the race and is still leading the Superstock pack, in the same lap as Tati Team Beaujolais Racing, Starteam Pam Racing, AM Moto Racing Compétition and Yamaha Viltaïs Experiences: all of them are currently in the top 12. Meanwhile, Junior Team Le Mans Sud Suzuki has powered its way back up to 15th place after some electrical issues, ahead of Ecurie ChronoSport.

Völpker NRT48 Schubert Motors, the erstwhile world standings topper and favourite to win at Oschersleben, has withdrawn as a result of mechanical issues and a crash.

At this stage of the race, Team 3Art Yam’Avenue looks set to pick up the Superstock World Cup.
