Yakubu gets Nigeria call

Nigeria's German coach Berti Vogts has included Middlesbrough striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni in a 24-man squad for their African Nations Cup qualifier against Uganda.
Aiyegbeni has not played for Nigeria since he was sent away from the 2004 finals in Tunisia for breaking camp rules.
Also recalled to the Super Eagles party for the June 2 match in Kampala is Watford defender Danny Shittu who has been out of the squad since the 2006 World Cup qualifier against Angola.
The Everton duo of Victor Anichebe and Joseph Yobo plus Chelsea's John Obi Mikel, Obafemi Martins of Newcastle, Portsmouth's Nwankwo Kanu and Seyi Olofinjana of Wolves are also included.
The former African champions will play a friendly against Kenya's Harambee Stars on May 27 before departing for Kampala two days later.
