Zimbabwe salvage draw

Midfielder Esrom Nyandoro struck a long range free kick late in the game to salvage a point for Zimbabwe as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Morocco in their African Nations Cup Group 12 qualifier in Harare.

But the result has given a major boost to Morocco's hopes of winning top place and a berth at next year's finals in Ghana.
Morocco now have four points in the three-team group, three more than Zimbabwe. Malawi, the other side in the group, are second with three points.
Youssef Hadji stole in between Zimbabwe's central defence to head home a cross from Bouchaib El Mobarki to hand Morocco the lead after nine minutes but Nyandoro responded with his 20-metre equaliser in the 82nd minute.
