A footballer in Egypt was sent off after a late tackle on an opposition player who stood on the ball in the dying minutes of a league match.

He's certainly no Cristiano Ronaldo but Al Ahly midfielder Ramadan Sobhi pulled off a patronising piece of skill against Zamalek on Tuesday.

The match in Egypt between two of the country's biggest sides saw Al Ahly win 2-0.

As the dying minutes played out, Sobhi decided to stand on the ball and tease his opposition defender.

Zamalek's Hazem Emam was having none of it however, and received a red card after one of the most late fouls you're ever likely to see.
