Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac is "convinced" that he will still be coaching the club next season after sealing the Bundesiga title on Saturday.
The Croat's position has been the source of constant speculation this season, with the Bavarian club trailing Borussia Dortmund in the table for much of the campaign before a strong second half to the season ensured they retain their title, which was sealed with a final day 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Reports in the week claimed that he would be fired regardless of where they fnished in the table but Kovac says he has been assured that his job is not under threat.
"I have received first-hand information and I am convinced that I will continue next year," he said after the win.
"Of course I am happy about the success."
Club legend Franck Ribery scored one of the goals on what will be his last-ever Bundesliga match and is hoping to sign off from his Bayern career with a domestic double in next week's DFP-Pokal final.
"It's my last moment here," the French veteral said. "A special time at Bayern is coming to an end. This was not two or three years, it was 12.
"Now it's time for the cup final in Berlin."
