Bayern Munich take another step towards another Bundesliga title. Bayer Leverkusen started well and took the lead, but the response from the defending champions was emphatic and Flick's record just gets better - he has won 23 of his first 26 matches in charge of the Bavarians!

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Bayer Leverkusen 2-4 Bayern Munich
Paderborn have scored a late equaliser against RB Leipzig and so the damage of this result might not be as bad as feared for Bayer Leverkusen in the race to finish in the top four.
There will be four minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
- GoalFlorian WirtzBayer 04 Leverkusen
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 2 (89 mins - Florian Wirtz) Bayern Munich 4. It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but Wirtz has scored his goal in the Bundesliga. The 17-year-old cut on to his left foot and curled very nice effort into the far corner beyond the reach of Neuer. Lovely finish, indeed.
Bayern Munich are now zipping some passes around the back as they wind down the clock to yet another win and yet another impressive performance. They are in such good form.
He just kept going! There didn't appear to be much on for Lewandowski when he picked the ball up on the left wing, but he just kept going and going and forced the save from Hradecky.
- OffAlphonso DaviesFC Bayern Munich
- OnLucas HernándezFC Bayern Munich
Hernandez comes on for Davies. Another impressive performance by the young Canadian.
Muller has 20 assists for the season in the Bundesliga, which means he is just one assist away from equalling de Bruyne's record for Wolfsburg. What a season he has enjoyed.
The flow of the match has been affected by the changes made by both sides. That is one of the byproducts of the new five susbtitions rule. Bayern Munich have this won, though.
Diaby is wasteful again! Not for the first time, the young winger gets in behind the Bayern Munich defence and not for the first time he made the wrong decision, attempting the chip when he should have passed to Volland.
- OffSerge GnabryFC Bayern Munich
- OnThiagoFC Bayern Munich
Thiago also came on for Bayern Munich a few moments ago, replacing Gnabry.
- OffLucas AlarioBayer 04 Leverkusen
- OnKevin VollandBayer 04 Leverkusen
Alario comes off for the home side and Volland will continue his recovery with a cameo off the bench.
You'd have to put Bayern Munich as the favourites to win this season's Champions League, if it ever completes. They are in exceptional form at the moment. Quite remarkable.
- OffLeon GoretzkaFC Bayern Munich
- OnJavi MartínezFC Bayern Munich
Another change made by Flick and Martinez comes on for the final 10 minutes or so.
- Yellow cardAleksandar DragovicBayer 04 Leverkusen
Dragovic is shown a yellow card for pulling down Goretzka.
- OffKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
- OnIvan PerišicFC Bayern Munich
Missed this change at the time, but Perisic came on for Coman after the Lewandowski goal.
PICTURE: It's all gone to plan for Bayern Munich.
This has been another show of strength from Bayern Munich. There's no chance they will be caught at the top of the Bundesliga table. They are scoring goals for fun at the moment.
Can Lewandowski match Muller's all-time Bundesliga scoring record of 40 goals in one season? That goal was his 30th of the league season, so he still has some work to do.
Bayer Leverkusen had enjoyed a good spell at the start of the second half, but the final ball has been missing, while Bayern Munich have demonstrated a real edge in front of goal.
Lewandowski will miss Bayern Munich's next match through suspension, so you could see how desperate he was to find the back of the net. He's got his goal and he'll want more.
- GoalRobert LewandowskiFC Bayern Munich
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 1 Bayern Munich 4 (66 mins - Robert Lewandowski). It's another goal for Lewandowski, his 44th goal of the season for Bayern Munich! Muller played the cross into the middle and the Polish striker arrived on the scene to power a header into the back of the net. Great finish.
Gnabry over the bar! Great trickery from Coman on the left side sees him set up his Bayern Munich teammate for a shot 20 yards out, but Gnabry couldn't get over the effort.
Wrong decision! Diaby does so well to drive at the Bayern Munich defence, forcing them back and back, but he lashes his shot high and wide when he should have tried to find a teammate.
- OffJulian BaumgartlingerBayer 04 Leverkusen
- OnPaulinhoBayer 04 Leverkusen
Bosz makes his fourth change of the match and Paulinho comes on for the final 30 minutes.
Poor touch! Davies got down the left side and played the pass into Coman, but he allowed the ball to squirm under his foot. Had he controlled it he surely would have made it four.
RB Leipzig are still ahead in their match against Paderborn so as things stand Bayer Leverkusen are missing their chance to force their way into the Bundesliga's top four.
Bayer Leverkusen are seeing plenty of the ball, although Bayern Munich seem quite happy to let them have possession and then press them when they get over the halfway line.
This is certainly a lot better from Bayer Leverkusen. They have stepped up their game at the start of the second half, but they are taking more risks in an attempt to get back into this.
Header! Diaby played a good cross into the box with Alario gettting a header on goal, but Davies got in the way to send the ball behind for a corner kick, which came to nothing for the hosts.
PICTURE: Coman netted the equaliser.
That last opportunity for Bayern Munich illustrated the danger that Leverkusen now face. The more they press forward, the more space they leave at the back for the table-toppers to exploit.
Just wide from Muller! Bayern Munich launch forward on the counter attack, with Coman playing the pass back to Muller, but he sends his slow strike wide of the near post. Big chance.
This is a good period for Bayer Leverkusen at the start of the second half. Keep in mind that they also started the first half well. Can they still make a contest of this match?
Diaby was greedy! The young winger gets in behind the Bayern Munich defence, he had Wendell across goal, but he takes on the shot himself and lashes his strike wide of the near post.
- OffLeon BaileyBayer 04 Leverkusen
- OnWendellBayer 04 Leverkusen
... and third change sees Wendell come on. Remember, teams are permitted to make five subs at the moment.
- OffNadiem AmiriBayer 04 Leverkusen
- OnKerem DemirbayBayer 04 Leverkusen
Another change sees Demirbay come on for the home team...
- OffKarim BellarabiBayer 04 Leverkusen
- OnFlorian WirtzBayer 04 Leverkusen
Bosz has rung the changes at the start of the second half. He's made THREE of them, with Wirtz coming on at the break.
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Bayern Munich have a 3-1 lead over Bayer Leverkusen in this Bundesliga fixture.
Is there any way back for Bayer Leverkusen in the second half? How good are Bayern Munich at the moment? Would this match have been different with Havertz involved? Tweet me!
- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Bayer Leverkusen 1-3 Bayern Munich. Is ther any way back for Leverkusen? They started well and took the lead, but the response from the defending champions has been emphatic.
- GoalSerge GnabryFC Bayern Munich
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 1 Bayern Munich 3 (46 mins - Serge Gnabry). That's just too easy! The ball was played over the top for Gnabry, he had the pace to get to the pass and then Hradecky made it easy for him, rushing out and giving the Bayern Munich man the chance to lob him.
Gbabry, one-on-one... saved! That could and should have been a third goal for Bayern Munich, with Gnabry through on goal, but Hradecky makes the save from the German international. He did well, the goalkeeper!
19 assists now for Muller...
I said this was a crucial stage of the match for Bayer Leverkusen and they weren't able to hold on until half time. Bayern Munich have responded well to what was a poor start.
- GoalLeon GoretzkaFC Bayern Munich
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 1 Bayern Munich 2 (42 mins - Leon Goretzka). The Bavarians have taken the lead before the break! Bayern Munich caught Leverkusen on the counter attack with Goretzka angling a low strike into the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the box. Muller gets the assist!
- Yellow cardThomas MüllerFC Bayern Munich
Muller is shown a yellow card for preventing a Leverkusen freekick to be taken.
Alaba has become such an important player for Bayern Munich at centre back this season. His passing has given the Bavarians another dimension, as demonstrated by that last chance.
The flag stayed down! Alaba played a wonderful pass over the top for Lewandowski, he took the ball down on his chest, but could only send his shot wide of the far post. That was a chance.
PICTURE: Havertz watches on from the stands.
This is now a key point in the match. Leverkusen have fallen out of the match somewhat and so they need to hold on until half time. Bayern Munich are pressing for a second goal.
- Yellow cardKarim BellarabiBayer 04 Leverkusen
And now Bellarabi is shown a yellow card as frustration starts to bubble to the surface for some of the Leverkusen players.
RB Leipzig have taken the lead in their match against Paderborn and so if the current scorelines hold Nagelsmann's side would extend their lead over Leverkusen in the race for the top four.
- Yellow cardRobert LewandowskiFC Bayern Munich
Lewandowski picks up a yellow card and that means the Polish striker will miss Bayern Munich's next game through suspension.
That was slightly disappointing from Kimmich. He had the chance to get a cross into the middle, but he aims his freekick right at Hradecky in the Leverkusen goal. A bit wasteful from him.
- Yellow cardNadiem AmiriBayer 04 Leverkusen
That was a clear foul by Amiri on Davies. The Canadian beat him all ends up.
It was good play from Goretzka in the middle of the pitch to win the ball back and then play through Coman. He has been in good form since the resumption of the Bundesliga season.
That was a very nice finish from Coman who had a lot of time to think about what he wanted to do with the finish. Leverkusen were left so open at the back by losing the ball centrally.
- GoalKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 1 Bayern Munich 1 (28 mins - Kingsley Coman). That goal had been coming and Bayern Munich are back on level terms! Goretzka won the ball in the centre of the pitch, threaded it through to Coman and the Frenchman curled a cool finish into the far corner of the Leverkusen net!
It's possible that last Bayern Munich opportunity would have been called back for offside had the ball ended up in the back of the net, but the linesman kept his flag down. What a chance.
How did that not go in?! That should have been the equaliser. Muller's clipped pass found Coman at the back post, his cushioned header found Lewandowski ON THE GROUND, but he couldn't generate the power to head into the empty net from a few yeards out!
It's just not clicking for Bayern Munich in the final third at the moment, but this is an improvement on the final 15 minutes of the match where the Bavarians were really struggling.
You just get the feeling that Bayern Munich are starting to settle into this match. They have seen much more of the ball in the last five minutes and are camped on the edge of the opposition box.
This is a bit better from Bayern Munich as they attempt to raise the tempo and intensity of their play around the edge of the Bayer Leverkusen box, but the home team are holding firm.
PICTURE: Alario gave the home team the lead.
It's all a bit disjointed from Bayern Munich at the moment. They have been on fire in the last few games, but Flick must find a way to spark his team into life because this has been poor.
As things stand, Bayer Leverkusen are up into the top four and are level on points with RB Leipzig, although they are up against bottom side Paderborn, so you'd expect them to win.
Muller and Lewanowski haven't been allowed to get into this match yet. Bayern Munich have barely had the ball in the opposition half. This has been impressive from Leverkusen.
Wild from Coman! Davies played the pass back to the French winger, where space opened up for him 20 yards out from goal. But Coman cut across his strike and the goalkeeper was never worried.
Bayern Munich just haven't managed to get going yet. They are passing the ball around the back, but they look sloppy. Leverkusen are having joy pressing high up the pitch on them.
PICTURE: It's been a good start for Leverkusen.
This has been really encouraging stuff from Bayer Leverkusen. They have been the better team and the opening goal seems to have given them even more confidence. Well on top.
Chance for Leverkusen! The home side are getting in behind Bayern Munich with ease. Diaby got to the byline, but his cut back to Alario in the middle was cleared by Alaba.
Well, there was some confusion over that goal, but it stands and the home side have the lead. That was a neat little finish from Alario to catch Neuer off guard. He was surprised by the finish.
- GoalLucas AlarioBayer 04 Leverkusen
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 1 (10 mins - Lucas Alario) Bayern Munich 0. Confusion, but Bayer Leverkusen have the lead after 10 minutes! Alario was played through and finished underneath Neuer and into the back of the net. It was initially called offside, but the VAR review shows that Alario was in fact onside when the pass was played!
- Yellow cardKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
First yellow card of the match with Coman entering the book.
These two teams have seen more of the ball than any other sides in the Bundesliga this season. Don't expect to see many long balls played forward this afternoon. Very technical contest.
There will be some conspiracy theories around Havertz's absence today. He has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich in recent weeks, and he's missing today. Hmmmm...
Three points for Bayer Leverkusen this afternoon would take them above Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga table after their defeat to Freiburg last night. The race for the top four is heating up.
There was a half chance there for Muller to thread the ball through for Lewandowski. The Bayern Munich forward would have been clean through on goal, but the pass was blocked.
There will be more pressure on Bailey to deliver this afternoon with Havertz out injured for the home side. The Jamaican forward has the pace to give Boateng real problems.
Bayern Munich are in their usual 4-2-3-1 shape. Davies is already getting up high on the left wing. The Canadian teenager has arguably been the biggest success story of their season.
Volland is on the bench for Bayer Leverkusen. He was their top scorer before injury struck, so will we see him on the pitch at some point this afternoon? He could be a factor.

Bayern Munich have won every match they have played since the resumption of the Bundesliga season with the Bavarians seven points clear at the top of the table. Champions in waiting? Most likely.
No Havertz! There's no doubting what the big team news is ahead of this one - there's no Havertz in the Bayer Leverkusen side! The attacking midfielder has picked up a muscular injury according to this club.
