Khedira talks himself into the book.
Hernandez felled while chopping inside, Hertha counter? Nope. Not again.
CUNHA! He's through on goal! It's over Neuer... but it's wide! And that sums it up for Berlin.
Radonjic... showed onto his weaker side... Neuer covers the near post comfortably. Still no way through for the hosts.
- OffKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
- OnEric Maxim Choupo-MotingFC Bayern Munich
Choupo-Moting is on for the goalscorer Coman.
Cunha's delivery is overcooked, and doesn't threaten Neuer.

- OffLeroy SanéFC Bayern Munich
- OnDouglas CostaFC Bayern Munich
Gnabry off for Costa.
Cunha's outswinger is dealt with comfortably.
There's the delivery... in towards Arbete, but Alaba deals with it. Corner.
Hertha free kick on the edge. Cunha over this one, naturally.
It's another jinking run from Cunha that doesn't quite result in a chance for the hosts. They just haven't got their shooting boots on at present.
Another Hertha break here! Neatly worked through Lukebakio... breaking to Guendouzi, who goes for the near post, but Neuer is strong and saves.
More Bayern pressure, hemming their hosts into their own half, banging on the door for that elusive second. Corner.
The ball's in the net from Hertha! But it's so clearly offside as Cunha rolls it in. The rules need changing, fast.
- OffKrzysztof PiatekHertha Berlin
- OnNemanja RadonjicHertha Berlin
Radonjic is on for Piatek.
Kimmich's corner... Lewandowski at the near post! Just wide. Still 1-0.
The hosts are on the ball more now: Cunha persists to push them forwards with darting runs, and Guendouzi is adding dynamism and energy, but they need to improve their final pass and finish if they are to truly trouble the champions.
It's frustration for Hertha here. Decisions aren't quite going their way, and nor really, is the flow of the game. Bayern ebbing and flowing, seeking that second.
- OffVladimír DaridaHertha Berlin
- OnMattéo GuendouziHertha Berlin
Matteo Guendouzi replaces Ondrej Darida.
More flowing attacking moves from the visitors... threading the ball through the lines with inch-perfect precision, from side to side, moving their hosts around and tiring them out.
Another wasted countering opportunity for the hosts... this time it's Darida the guilty party, with a poor through pass towards Piatek.
Ascascibar is caught on the ball in the engine room and Gnabry is driving through with penetrative menace... and he strikes! But Jarstein is equal to it.
Deep early corner for Hertha, swung in by Cunha, but Bayern scramble it away, and have a throw on the far side with Hernandez.
- OffJordan TorunarighaHertha Berlin
- OnOmar AldereteHertha Berlin
Alderete is on for the hosts.
- 2nd Half
Here we go again.
Half time. A decent game thus far, see you in 15.
Hang on! Wow! So nearly an incredible assist from Neuer with his clearance, and Lewandowski beats the onrushing Jarstein to the dropping ball, but can only nod wide from range! Three additional minutes to play.
... but it's cherries for the Bayern 'keeper and the score remains the same.
Cunha does brilliantly, driving hard and fast through Bayern territory through the gears, towards the penalty area, earning a free kick on the edge, which the Brazilian is over, alongside Lukebakio on the left foot.
Kimmich over this long range free kick, floated to the far post, but cleared with ease. Bayern come again with another offensive wave, but Hertha intercept... here's the break... Piatek! Again! He's fluffed his lines! Wide of the target and Bayern's somewhat naive approach survives again.
More pressure from Bayern... they're really trying to turn the screw and double their advantage. Sane and Coman are really trying to isolate the Hertha full-backs, giving Lewandowski the freedom and space to nip in ahead of the hosts' central defenders for another score.
Coman's cross... Lewandowski with a glancing header! Just wide.
A Hertha break, again, from a Bayern mistake... Darida trying to drive them forwards, Cunha down the right... but nothing doing.
Cunha... well dribbled... trying to slide in Piatek to his left... but cut out by Alaba.
Lukebakio and Cunha have switched sides now: the quicker Brazilian is up against the speedier Frenchman, whilst the more physical Belgian is up against natural centre half Pavard.
Hernandez round the back on the left... drilled cross... good block by Stark, corner. Whipped in by Sane, but Sule's header is easy pickings for Jarstein.
Bayern seem to be in control now. Hertha are dropping deeper, and are looking feeble with their counters - Piatek's had half chances, but not enough to trouble Manuel Neuer.
Sule is back on after treatment and play can continue.
... lovely ball from Kimmich, floated over the top for Coman, and the onrushing Jarstein makes a strong save!
Hertha corner, but both the delivery and resulting break from Bayern are sloppy, and the visitors retain possession at the back.
- GoalKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! And that's the breakthrough, and the ultimate result to wasted opportunities. Bayern are ahead, Coman cutting in off the left, and a stroke of good fortune for the Frenchman and his side as the deflection takes it beyond Hertha's goalkeeper Jarstein and in for 1-0.
Here's a chance, again for Berlin! Kimmich gives the ball away sloppily, and Piatek is slipped clear by Lukebakio, but it's a tame effort.
A good break from the champions themselves, worked nicely into a shooting opportunity for Gnabry, but it's blocked and ricochets for a goal kick for the hosts.
They're so susceptible to the counter attack, Bayern. So many men being thrown forwards, it's only the back four and the small stature of Kimmich as a shield - it is puzzling as to why Tolisso or Roca hasn't partnered the playmaker.
Nothing doing, Bayern free kick.
Here's a chance, on the counter for Hertha! Numbers forward... Piatek... Cunha... Piatek again! A tame effort, but Neuer forced to save and here's a corner.
SAVED! Wow! Jarstein with two strong hands to his right to deny the world's best! It remains scoreless, and the host goalkeeper makes amends!
PENALTY! Really neat opening worked by Bayern, Gnabry driving through the centre having been fed by Pavard, and the onrushing Sane is felled by Jarstein, with Lewandowski over the spot kick.
Corner, Bayern. In from Kimmich, swept away by Tousart, and Petkarik wins the free kick off Coman.
Again, more positive attacking interplay from the home side and Piatek breaks free down the right channel, but is forced into a tame shot into the goalkeeper's midriff, isolated beyond belief.
The snow is falling, and Bayern's passing groove is kicking into gear. That's not to say that Hertha aren't getting on the ball - Cunha is looking lively roaming from his flank, and he slides in Piatek who fires over, with the flag raised.
Bayern have settled in already, despite that early scare, and Leroy Sane forces a sharp save by Jarstein after a break down the right.
Very offensive mindset from the visitors here; it's so clear to see. Sane is off the right, Coman on the left... but hang on... Hertha with a chance! And Lukebakio is denied by Neuer's legs! Cunha span away from Sane and Gnabry, and slid in the right winger, but the Belgian is thwarted by the big veteran in the Munich net.
It is Serge Gnabry and Muller as the 10s ahead of Kimmich - Bayern are really gunning for this early.
Away we go.
A bit of a delayed kick off, here, we apologise.
Two metres apart in the tunnel, good social distancing, lads.
The players are out, here we go!
Seven minutes to go.
Sami Khedira, Matteo Guendouzi and Mathew Leckie are the standout names on the hosts' bench, whilst Bayern's is a bit more star-studded: Alphonso Davies, Douglas Costa, Corentin Tolisso, Jerome Boateng the standout names.
The only thing separating Hertha and the relegation play off spot is goal difference - seven goals to be exact - so although a loss would be unlikely to send them down a place, they are nervously looking over their shoulders as Arminia are closing in.
Robert Lewandowski is currently leading the scoring charts - no surprise there - with 24 goals, and Hertha's closest challenger to the great Pole is Matheus Cunha on six. It shows truly the difference between the league leaders and the home side, languishing in 15th.
20 minutes to kick off.
Could the home side's 4-2-3-1 shrivel into a 4-5-1 if Bayern do the expected and explode out of the blocks? Darida could move to the right of the central trio, with Lukebakio and Cunha needing to put serious shifts in on the wings to track the relentless Sane and Coman, and perhaps even Hernandez and Pavard should they have more licence to roam and overlap.
With a win, Bayern would go 10 points clear of second placed Leipzig - granted with a game more played - but it would put them in excellent stead to romp to yet another Bundesliga title.
It could well be a 4-1-4-1 for the champions: Kimmich the quarter-back number 6 dropping deep to orchestrate, and we could see Gnabry and Muller operating centrally as floating 10s, with Coman and Sane keeping the width. Lewandowski will be their focal point; with Pavard and Hernandez perhaps more understandably reserved going forwards to allow for positional balance.
Tactically, what can we expect from today's game? Well, Hertha are in their 4-2-3-1: Cunha and Lukebakio will be goalscoring threats off both flanks, whilst Piatek is the focal point up top. Darida is the creator in the hole, supported by the energetic Ascacibar and the deeper-lying Tousart. Bayern, meanwhile, are going gung-ho on paper: Kimmich is their only natural midfielder, which begs the question, how will the league leaders line up?
Bayern: Neuer, Pavard, Sule, Alaba, Hernandez, Kimmich, Muller. Gnabry, Coman, Sane, Lewandowski.
Hertha: Jarstein, Pekarik, Stark, Torunarigha, Mittelstadt, Ascacibar, Tousart, Cunha, Darida, Lukebakio, Piatek.
The teams are as so...
