Game over. That's it, an easy win for Bayern, but a spirited performance from Besiktas. Bayern might be the dark horses in this competition, as much as they can be with the millions spent, of course.
Two minutes of normal time remaining.
- GoalSandro WagnerFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Besiktas 1-3 Bayern. Wagner scores - It's 8-1 now. A cross from Alaba, released into the box, deflects off a defender and over the 'keeper, and Wagner chests home at the back post.
The tie, and probably the match, is won. Perhaps because of the chance of a stray yellow, and another injury on top of Thaigo's, Bayern aren't chasing this at all. Pektemek goes down with either cramp or a kick in the shin.
Wagner tries to break down the right wing but can't keep up with his punt forward, and he does however win a throw-in deep into Besiktas's territory.
- OffVágner LoveBesiktas
- OnRyan BabelBesiktas
Love limps off, replaced by Ryan Babel. He's still playing!
There's just over 20 minutes left of the second half to go. Besiktas have held their own in this period, and it augurs well for the team in the future. They aren't top quality, yet, but there is plenty of money in Turkish football at the moment.
- Yellow cardOguzhan ÖzyakupBesiktas
Ozyakup is booked for sliding straight into Boateng, studs up. He's fortunate that the referee wasn't prepared to do his job properly and send him off.
Why do club accounts tweet like this? It's just weird.
- OffRobert LewandowskiFC Bayern Munich
- OnSandro WagnerFC Bayern Munich
Here's Sandro Wagner, on for the last 25 minutes.
This game feels like it's been going on for about six weeks, but I think that might just be my head cold.
- Yellow cardAtiba HutchinsonBesiktas
Hutchinson goes in from behind from Rodriguez, and gets himself booked.
Ozyakup can't quite reach a through ball and the 'keeper comes out to take it off his toes.
Pektemek runs onto a cross from the left, and he clips a deft touch towards the near post, but it's inches wide.
Besiktas are chasing a result in this match. Gokhan's curling corner is headed out.
- OffTolgay ArslanBesiktas
- OnAtiba HutchinsonBesiktas
Talisca and Hutchinson on.
- GoalVágner LoveBesiktas
GOAL! Besiktas 1-2 Bayern. Wagner Love scores. Alaba gives it away after Bayern play it out from a goal kick. The ball runs to Wagner love who toes his shot past Ulreich and into the far corner.
Besiktas have a foray up front, and the ball is worked to Lens. He looks set to release his shot on goal before a Vidal sliding challenge goes miles over. Sorry if I get anything wrong, I'm still crying tears of laughter because I saw a cat.
Arslan is down after a clash of heads, I think, but he's OK to carry on. In fact, it may be from barging into Lewandowski up front.
Cat's gone now. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life.
There's a cat on the pitch. This is the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life.
Rafinha is robbed and Besiktas break for 0.00003 seconds before they are dispossessed again.
- Own-goalGökhan GönülBesiktas
GOAL! Besiktas 0-2 Bayern (Gokhan og) - Game over, man, game over! Rafinha receives the ball down the right as Bayern race forward, he curls in a tempting cross that both Gokhan and Zenghin go for, and it bounces between them and into the net.
- 2nd Half
The match gets underway, with Sule replacing Hummels.
- End of 1st Half
That's half time. See you in 15 minutes.
There will be just one minute of added time to work through, barring any other major events. Corner on the left for Bayern is coming up.
Hummels is on hand for a last-minute block on Gokhan. He concedes a corner from which nothing comes. Ribery then trips Uysan, and pushes him for good measure, somehow evading a bookibf - Uysan isn't impressed by the Frenchman's efforts.
- Yellow cardJérôme BoatengFC Bayern Munich
Boateng is late on Lens, and it's not really clear how the foul occured, but he's given a booking five minutes after Hummels received the same.
Boateng meets a corner near the penalty spot, and he thuds a header over the bar. He wasn't really marked, making it a pretty good chance.
Free kick for Quaresma, on the left of the box and about 25 yards out, but it curls well over the bar.
- OffThiagoFC Bayern Munich
- OnJames RodríguezFC Bayern Munich
Rodriguez is on for Thiago.
Lewandowski has a great chance, slipped in between and behind the defence, and he drags an awful shot at Medel and out for a corner.
Alaba races onto an overhit pass down the left wing after Vidal kickstarts a move with a quick free kick in midfield, and the ball goes out of play for a goal kick.
Thiago has strolled off for treatment, and he doesn't seem too optimistic. Yes, before you ask, I am a trained body language expert.
Thiago is sitting in midfield, waiting for treatment - he has a real probem with injuries.
Besiktas aren't being desperately stretched, as you'd imagine given the lack of urgency on Bayern's behalf.
Vidal is on hand to stick out a leg and trap a fiercely hit cross from the right before clearing.
Vidal races across to close down Lens on the right wing, and even wins the throw-in.
It's Besiktas' turn to keep the ball now. They're down 6-0 though, so this is purely for their own pride at this stage.
Bayern are now sitting on the ball before sending it long into the 'keeper for him to claim.
- GoalThiagoFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Besiktas 0-1 Bayern. Thiago scores - Bayern probe down the right, Muller swings in a cross to the back post, and Thiago arrives to half-volley past the 'keeper.
Ribery receives the ball in the box, dragging it with him and waiting to open up his body to shoot, only for Uysal to slide in to cut it out.
Gokhan catches Ribery in midfield, and is quick to apologise. Besiktas win the ball back though and Quaresma flicks in a cross for Wagner Love, waiting in the box, and Hummels races back to cut it out.
A cross from Bayern hits a defender and Besiktas retain possession as Bayern drop back to their own half.
Besiktas attack down the right wing, nothing doing as Alaba is on hand to defend before winning a throw with his clearance.
The move ends when Pektemek can't get his shot away properly in the box. It's being played at a hectic pace, all things considered.
A brief bit of head tennis sees Besiktas win it back and drive down the right.
Bayern are pinned back in their half for now. Ulreich collects the ball by the touchline, but sadly in not as revolutionary a way as Neuer would have done.
Quaresma cuts inside and is quickly tackled. The danger passes for Bayern.
Lens goes in late and clatters Rafinha, but he gets away without a yellow.
Besiktas ride their luck after Vidal goes close, and play the ball around in defence and midfield.
- 1st Half
The match gets underway.
With five minutes to kick off, send me your predictions. I'm going for 2-0 to Bayern.
And some Besiktas-related transfer news.
Besiktas have the enjoyable Ricardo Quaresma, so should he be in sparkling form and hit early, he might demand some concentration, at least, from his opponents.
There are 20 minutes until kick off, and the players to watch out for are Ribery, in presumably his final season, probably the pick. Thomas Muller has been in inconsistent form, but that never stops him hitting seven out of nowhere.

Catch up with Paul Parker on the shock of the round - United's exit to Sevilla last night.
Bayern Munich have a 5-0 lead over Besiktas and so the game is largely a dead rubber. Nonetheless, Bayern have fielded a strong team.
