And that's full-time!
Chelsea were far from awful here but ultimately they were a little too toothless in attack and were punished by the greatest player who ever lived.
From a corner Rudiger's header smashes off the bar with Ter Stegen beaten.
Zappacosta spins and takes aim with his left but Ter Stegen comfortably gathers.
Paulinho gets free from a corner and powers a header towards goal but Courtois is equal to it with a superb save.
Final Chelsea change sees Hazard come off with Pedro back on at his former stopming ground.
Messi has a free-kick that takes a clip off the wall and Courtois palms over before catching the ball.
Brilliant ball from Fabregas finds Hazard who charges down the right.
He cuts the ball back into the penalty spot where there is...no-one.
Morata has to be there in the box with him.
Alonso goes into the book as he goes in with a high foot and catches Paulinho.
My apologies but I appeared to miss Morata coming on at the same time as Zappacosta.
Giroud getting some treatment on the bench which will be concerning for Conte.
Zappacosta's first involvement is to hit a cross very high and nowhere near anyone in particular.
Give that man some sort of Twitter award.
The Camp Nou has entered party mode right now.
They know their team is through to the quarter-final.
And Chelsea make their change as Davide Zappacosta replaces Moses.
And now Valverde makes his final change as Aleix Vidal comes on for Dembele.

GOAL! BARCELONA 3-0 CHELSEA (MESSI)
And just as Chelsea started to take control of this game Messi has knocked them out with a sucker-punch. A poor pass lets Barca in and Suarez gives it to Messi. He accelerates away from Moses and Azpilicueta and for the second time tonight smashes it through Courtois' legs.
That's 100 Champions League goals for Messi.
Another chance for Chelsea as Alonso is slipped in and Pique does well to make the block.
I tell you what Gomes, who has previously been booed by the Camp Nou, has just got a huge roar as he came on.
Busquets isn't able to continue here and he's going to be replaced by Andre Gomes.
Not great from Moses as he over-runs the boll and then clatters into Busquets as he slips. Just a free-kick, nothing more.
Chelsea nick the ball on the edge of their box and Hazard feeds Willian. He wants to slip in Giroud but the forward's run is all over the place.
Right here comes the change.
And it's Iniesta off for Paulinho. Messi takes the armband.
Alonso takes to the air to try a scissor-kick at the edge of the box but it doesn't find a Chelsea player.
Looks like Valverde might change something.
It would have perhaps been soft but what would have happened if that had been Suarez or Messi...?
PENALTY APPEAL TURNED DOWN!
Brilliant turn from Alonso in the box before he is bundled over.
The referee not only says no to the penalty and then books Giroud for complaining.
Courtois' night goes form bad to worse as his poor pass gives Suarez the chance to score. The Belgian redeems himself by making the save but Chelsea cannot afford that sort of lapse.
At the other end Dembele makes a brilliant tackle to deny Alonso when the wing-back is through on goal.
No changes by other managers and we're underway for the second half!
Good positive start from Chelsea and they get a corner through Moses. It's cleared to Willian and his shot is blocked.
Right here come the players for the second half
And that's half-time!
Cracking first-half and Barca are two to the good
OFF THE POST!
Oh what an effort! Alonso curls it up and over the wall but it clips the post and goes behind.
Chance for Chelsea as they win a free-kick on the edge of the area...
Alonso and Willian stand over it...
And here is Messi's goal
And Messi's first goal is the fastest of his career. Which seems surprising to me.
And now Pique is down following a challenge from Giroud in the air.
Safe to say the Frenchman is not Mr Popular in the Camp Nou right now.
Barcelona are not happy as Giroud and then Kante commit a couple of fouls. Messi has been told to stop talking by the referee.
Chelsea are still pushing here! N'Golo Kante weaves his way through the defence but drags his left-footed effort wide.
What a chance for Chelsea! Willian cuts the ball back to Alonso and he smashes it towards goal, drawing a good save from Ter Stegen. Then Giroud's follow-up is blocked.
Giroud reminding the referee that he is playing by climbing into a couple of Barca defenders and then screaming when he's called up for a free-kick.
The Barca fans are furious as Rudiger takes out Messi.
But replays show that the Barca man has gone down pretty easily...
From the free-kick Pique heads into Courtois' arms.
Nearly an incredible goal.
Iniesta dances through the Chelsea defence and skips away form Willian. he then produces an audacious backheel into the path of Suarez, only for Courtois to keep his legs together and save well.
Right about now Chelsea need to find a Ramires and a Fernando Torres..
Much has been made of Messi when he plays against Chelsea but whatever has gone before it is undeniable that he is turning it on in this tie.
That was absolutely magical from Messi and you could see his delight at his young team-mate scoring his first goal.
From Chelsea's perspective Fabregas has to be questioned for not putting a challenge in, although there's an argument to be had that this is the gamble you take when playing Fabregas. Once again Rudiger hasn't covered himself in glory as he loses Dembele and Alonso's attempts to get back were non-existent

GOAL! BARCELONA 2-0 CHELSEA (DEMBELE)
Brilliant counter-attack from Barcelona! Hazard has a shot blocked superbly by Umtiti and Barca counter.
Messi is at the heart of it as he nicks the ball off Fabregas, beats Christensen, drags Azpilicueta wide and then squares it to Dembele.
The Frenchman takes a touch and smashes his first goal for Barca into the top corner.
It's been a tough start for Giroud and he tries to flick a pass round the corner to Willian but it goes straight to a Barca defender.
Groans from the away end as Chelsea work hard to win the ball back only to then give it away immediately.
Game has slowed down a bit after Chelsea's reaction to the goal, only highlight really is Suarez getting increasingly round-up.
A Chelsea free-kick is played short and the subsequent cross is cleared to Hazard. He tries to slip in Rudiger but the defender is offside.
A minute later Willian has a go from outside the area but his low effort is held by Ter Stegen
Suarez is incredulous as he gets down to the byline and sees his cross deflected behind only for the assistant referee to give a goal-kick.
The goal has forced Chelsea out of their shell and they've opened up to try and use the entire pitch at the Camp Nou.
Hazard is at the heart of it all as he dances away from a few defenders before spreading it to Moses. His cross is cleared though.
Chelsea win a free-kick near the corner flag and Willian decides to try and sneak it in at the near post. It's a cheeky effort but Barca turn it behind and then clear the corner.
Watching the replays of that goal and whilst the defending from Rudiger was poor surely there have to be question marks over Courtois there?

GOAL! BARCELONA 1-0 CHELSEA (MESSI)
We're around 130 seconds in and Lionel Messi has already scored. Bit of luck in the build-up as Messi's pass is intercepted and it bundles to Suarez who flicks it back to the Argentine.
He takes it down the right and with his weaker (does he have a weak foot?) slips it inbetween the legs of Courtois.
Bit like London buses Messi's goals against Chelsea aren't they?
This game has started pretty much as you would expect. Barca have set up shop outside the Chelsea box and the Blues are as deep as possible with at least ten men behind the ball, often eleven.
And we're off and running!
The teams have shaken hands and we're having the coin toss now.
As usual the Barca fans whistle the Champions League anthem.
Right we are just five minutes from kick-off.
Who are you backing? Let me know your predictions!
There's about 15 minutes to go so why not have a go at our UCL quiz!
An interesting story to drop just before the game. SI's Grant Wahl reporting that Antonio Conte is close to agreeing a move to PSG.
It's widely expected that Conte will leave at the end of the season but could a big Champions League run keep him at the club?
Here's what the Chelsea man had to say before the match at his press conference.
"For the manager, for every coach, it is not simple to sleep a lot, especially before these types of games," he said.
"We have to concentrate, to stay with your head on the pitch in every moment and to know that there are moments we have to suffer. Not only Chelsea, but every team who plays Barcelona has to suffer.
"They have to be compact and when you have the ball you have to have the feeling in your heart to create the chance to score."
And of course it wouldn't be fair unless we turned to one game that saw Barcelona triumph and here is Andres Iniesta after breaking Chelsea hearts...
Of course one of the most memorable nights in this fixture's history was one Fernando Torres rounded Victor Valdes, sending Gary Neville into hysterics.
Here come the Chelsea players for their warm-up
Few better places to play football on a night like this...
DON'T I KNOW YOU?
This will be the 14 Champions League clash between these two clubs. Only Bayern v Real Madrid (18) and Barcelona v Milan (15) have occurred more in the competition.
This guy is a bit special. Messi recently brought up his 600th career goal and he finally broke his Chelsea duck in the first leg.
How he plays is going to be pivotal to this match.
