Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off in a shock incident which left everyone bewildered on his Champions League debut for Juventus.

The top scorer in the history of the competition added an unwanted sidenote to his track record as he was shown the red card for seemingly nothing.

Just a little ruffle of an opponent's hair, that's all.
