PSG will meet the winner of Bayern Munich vs Lyon in the Champions League final after their semi-final win over their German opponents.
Speaking after the game, the Argentine winger said: "We played at 100%. We knew that with our energy we could qualify.
"We are one step away from making history for PSG."
Goalkeeper Sergio Rico, set to return to Sevilla when his loan period ends after the final, remarked: "I am very happy to have had this chance.
"It's a reward for the work in training for the whole team. There are no words to describe the feeling of the whole club. We are very happy."
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi paid tribute to his players and the club's fans, who could not attend.
"It's a historic night for the club, magnificent. I am proud of the club, it's our first final. Honestly, it's a dream but it must not stop tonight.
"We are close to our dream of the Champions League.
"Our supporters can't be with us but this win is for them."
Defender Thiago Silva, linked with a move away from PSG at the end of the season, said: "There were difficult moments. But today we have deserved to reach the final. It's historic but it's not finished.
"For now, yes Sudnay is my last match. It's very important. I've already said that I wanted to finish in Europe with PSG. I'm calm. My heart will be here forever, it's red and blue for life."

Nagelsmann: PSG deserved it

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann admitted PSG were the better side but was optimistic his squad could build on what they had achieved this season.
"I think at the end, the ticket for the final for PSG is well deserved. The first 10 minutes we did well, we were good in the game. The final third was hectic, no good finishes. Then we get the free kick and the goal," he explained.
"After the second goal it was hard to come back into the game, PSG have a lot of quality. They were the better team today. It's hard, but football is sometimes like that.
"We made two or three big mistakes. It's not that easy. After the second goal the belief of our players went a little bit. I think that's normal. Then it gets more complicated and more difficult to create chances.
"We did well in the second half but we had no big finishing moments.
"At the end it's not that easy to think about the good season we had in the Champions League, but it will be OK. We know that the Champions League season was good for a young team. We'll try to do it again next season, and work hard in the future."
