FULL TIME: Sevilla 2-3 Dortmund. An excellent game in terms of excitement and some decent attacking play, but the defensive concentration was less than brilliant. It sets up an excellent second leg, with the game in the balance - particularly if Sevilla actually turn up from the off.
No penalty, but Lopetegui is booked for his dissent.
Can catches his knee in the turf, but might have hurt his hamstring there. The game is not over yet as his injury needs treatment. De Jong is down in the box after being clattered in the box as he went for a high ball... and now there's a penalty check...
Hitz is down with the ball, slow to get up after claiming a Carlos shot in the box. There's 90 seconds or so left...
The first of three minutes indicated.
Sancho cuts onto his left and fires a shot just wide. Haaland then clips Navas on the right to stop a counter. Yellow card.
Sevilla frantically press for a third.
Belgian intellectual Thomas Meunier is on.
A distinct lack of social distancing here as Sancho is clattered on the touchline by Rodriguez with a barge, and the Dortmund bench, frankly, overreact and goad their opponents. Rodriguez gets a booking, but it's hard to be excited by something so tepid.
AGGRO.
GOAL! Sevilla 2-3 Dortmund. De Jong scores - The unmarked striker races into six-yard box to chase a free kick and cushions an effort past the 'keeper to give his side hope.
If Sevilla can grab another goal now, Dortmund will be rattled. But it feels more likely to end up 4-1 than 3-2.
Reus off for Brandt.
Passlack is on for Dortmund.
Subs coming.
Rodriguez whips a free kick over the all, deflected by Can, and it clips the post and bounces away off Hitz's hand. What a chance.
Hummels catches De Jong on the edge of the box with a nudge in the back, and is rightly booked.
Rodriguez for Jordan.
Reus can't get past Carlos as he chases a dinked through ball from Guerreiro. Dortmund keep the pressure on, though, and Bellingham shoots from outside the box, forcing Bono to slap it away.
Kounde, high up the pitch on the inside right as Sevilla press, plays in a through ball which is far too hard, and it's out for a goal kick. The match is threatening to drift away from them as they struggle to create dangerous chances.
More Sevilla possession. Navas does well to find space for a cross, it's aimed to Escudero whose effort is deflected and drifts just wide off Hummels.
Dortmund are not great at keeping the ball in their own half but Sevilla are pretty profligate in possession.
Suso for De Jong, En-Nesyri for Munir, and Gomez for Torres.
About half an hour left. Nothing is happening.
De Jong is likely to be on soon for Sevilla.
More Sevilla possession but Dortmund intercept and race forward. This is not the first time this half.
Sancho glides past Kounde and finds Gurreiro, and Reus is now moving into space with the ball.
Dortmund are sitting back now.
Gomez has an effort deflected wide, and the corner is easily cleared at the near post.
Annd we go again.
A sub for Sevilla.
That's it for the half. See you in 15 minutes.
There will be a minute of added time left, if it goes as indicated.
GOAL! Sevilla 1-3 Dortmund. Haaland scores - It's another! Rakitic and Gomez lose the ball in midfield, Reus steals in and shifts the ball right to Haaland on his shoulder, and he rolls a shot around Bono for number three.
There's a few minutes left now but both sides seem ready to get in for a tab and a drink at half time.
From the social medias.
Carlos reaches a floating ball to send an effort at goal, but it's not hard enough to trouble Hirz.
Two corners in quick succcession for Dortmund, and the second bounces infront of Hummels to volley into the ground and over.
Bono leaps to his right after Haaland needs just one touch to launch a shot as he latches onto a through ball.
Dortmund race forward with Sancho and force Sevilla to drop right back. Dortmund then have space to play the ball back to their defence and wait for an opportunity to exploit.
Dortmund camped back now, defending deep.
Half an hour gone now and Sevilla are trying to steady themselves on the ball.
GOAL! Sevilla 1-2 Dortmund. Haaland scores - Haaland sprints forward, lays the ball off to Sancho on the edge of the box, who turns the ball back into his path for Haaland to stretch and hook the ball into the goal with the 'keeper in completely the wrong place.
Escudero and Morey collide on the touchline and need a little rest on the floor to grimace before they recover.
Reus and Haaland play a one-two into the box. Navas clears Reus' cross at the back post clear for a corner.
Dortmund celebrates.
GOAL! Sevilla 1-1 Dortmund. Dahoud scores - After 728 minutes, Bono finally concedes. Dahoud has room on the outside of the box after switching the ball inside, and he whips a shot into the top corner.
En-Nesyri cycnically brings down Akanji on the halfway line to stop a coutner and is lucky to avoid a yellow.
Kounde advances from defence after a loose pass from Dortmund, and fires in a low shot from distance that goes well wide of goal.
Dortmund are coming back into the game now. They're not doing much with the ball but they now actually have it. Given Sevilla's defensive record they may try to hit Dortmund on the counter for as long as they lead.
Sevilla are happily keeping the ball in defence.
GOAL! Sevilla 1-0 Dortmund. Suso scores - The former Liverpool man jinks outside the box, makes room for a shot, and fires in an effort that flicks off Bellingham, then Hummels, and over the 'keeper.
A little time on the ball now for Sevilla, and Can gives away a foul on Susuo in midfield.
Still Dortmund in control.
Dortmund are pressing from the off. They've had almost all of the ball, around the Sevilla half.
The match gets underway.
Remember to tweet your opinions to the Eurosport's Twitter account. Sevilla's excellent defensive record will be a tough obstacle.
The match is now 10 minutes away...
Sevilla might go into this as slight favourites. Dortmund players know that Marco Rose is comming in the summer, so they have no reason to play for the current manager.
And here is prolific writer Graham Ruthven's comment on Sevilla. Scientists predict that by 2040 well over 45% of all football opinion will be written by Graham.
