They can't. It deflects well wide and out for a goal kick, and that should do it.
Well now, Milan have won a corner. Could they? Everyone's in there...
Milan get forwards, but Calabria slashes a shot horribly wide from the inside right position. They've been so poor tonight.
Martinez leads a break for Porto, backing up Kjaer all the way to his area before dithering and being dispossessed.
Grujic is on for Otavio.
We'll have five additional minutes, as Pepe wins a corner for Porto.
Leao lands his studs on the top of Otavio's boot, and is booked.
Ibrahimovic goes in the book for a dangerous high boot on Mbemba. The Porto players are questioning why this isn't anything stronger, and I'm surprised that isn't being looked at again. On we go.
The blizzard of changes continues as Martinez replaces Taremi.
Daniel Maldini - yes, of that lineage - is on for Krunic. Elsewhere, Kalulu is booked for a foul on Corona.
Porto and their fans are desirous of a penalty, as a long ball releases Corona down the right and into the area. Kalulu gets back and nudges him out the way; you are never getting a spot kick for that.
Porto are still having the majority of the ball here, but are wary of over-committing given the narrowness of the lead. Milan have done very little up front all night.
Milan have a rare sortie into the Porto area, where the ball ricochets about and doesn't quite fall kindly enough for Bakayoko to get his shot away.
This is a bit chaotic now, as that plethora of changes either side of the goal seems have disrupted the rhythm of the match.
In Madrid it's still 2-2, although the home side are down to ten men.
Taremi leads a break for Porto but plays a poor pass to Diaz when it looked on to play him in, and Tatarusanu gathers.
Bakayoki has replaced Tonali for Milan, while Vitinha and Corona have replaced Oliveira and Evanilson.
Changes for both sides, which I'll tell you about in a second as there's a chance for Pepe, who gets the ball on the edge of the area after a corner and whistles a shot wide of the post!
GOAL! FC Porto 1 (Diaz 65) AC Milan 0
There it is! After all that pressure Milan cave. A Mario cross from the right is cleared, and breaks to Diaz after a tangle on the edge of the area. Diaz steps onto the loose ball and drills a low shot into the bottom corner to put Porto ahead.
Some Zlatan theatre, as he has a thrash at goal from a 30-yard free kick. It's less revelation and more conversion, as it goes high, high over the bar.
A triple change for Milan as they try and stem the tide here. Ballo-Toure, Giroud and Tomori are off and Kalulu, Ibrahimovic and Romagnoli are on.
Milan are getting hemmed in here, and Ballo-Toure hacks the ball out for a throw-in to relieve the pressure. It soon comes back, and Uribe whistles a shot wide from 25 yards out.
Almost a chance here for Porto as Otavio takes the ball central from a throw-in, lets it run by him and chests it towards goal. He's inexplicably free, but his shot from the edge is blocked by the sliding Tomori.
Zaidu Sanusi is on as a substitute for Porto. He tries a yahoo from 30 yards out, which goes high over the bar.
CHANCE! Taremi picks the ball up on the right and cuts across goal. He shoots, scuffs it slightly and it bobbles inches wide of the near post.
We're underway again in Porto.
- End of 1st Half
Porto are really handy on the break. They advance down the right and work it to Otavio on the edge, but his effort is blocked by Kjaer.
Giroud puts a bicycle kick a yard wide for Milan! Tasty effort, but it turns out he was offside.
We'll have two additional minutes.
A half chance for Milan, as Saelemaekers drills in a cross from the right. Giroud glances a header at goal, but it's straight down the hatch of Costa.
Porto break quickly on the left, and switch it over to Otavio on the right edge of the Milan area. It sits up nicely, but he slashes his shot high and wide.
Uribe wipes out Saelemaekers on the break and it's a yellow card.
In the other fixture in the group it's a lively old start, as Atletico Madrid have clawed back a two goal deficit and it's 2-2 in the Metropolitano.
Some slick play by Porto find Taremi on the edge of the area, one-on-one with Tomori. He shapes to shoot, but Tomori jockeys it well and gets the block in.
Bollo-Toure wins a thumping header out on the lift, sending the ball and Mario flying as he does so. This has lulled a little, and Milan are coming into it more after a rocky start.
Otavio clips a cross over from the right. It drops behind Diaz, who throws himself into an overhead kick. The shape and action are great, the direction is not.
CLOSE! Milan can't handle Taremi so far. He switches passes again, this time with Otavio down the right of the area, before fizzing a dipping shot a yard wide of the far post.
CHANCE! Porto should be ahead here. Oliveria whips in a free kick from the right, and Taremi, unmarked, heads wide from ten yards out. Big miss.
Taremi looks sharp. He plays another quick one-two , in the D this time, and his vicious low shot is blocked by the sliding Kjaer.
Giroud goes in the book for a fractionally late tackle.
Almost a chance for Milan immediately at the other end, as a ball to the back post finds Giroud. Strangely he heads across goal rather than at it, and Porto clear.
CHANCE! Taremi plays a one-two into the box, opens up to shoot and shanks his shot well wide of the far post from a wide angle.
A slick and an incisive move from Milan is nixed on the edge of the Porto box, and the home side break. Evanilson gets past Tomori in midfield, who brings him down and it's a yellow.
Welcome to live coverage of Porto versus Milan from the Estadio do Dragao, we'll be keeping you updated throughout. Porto's in-form man Diaz has hit the post so far, and Pepe has just planted a header from a corner into the hands of Tatarusanu.
