For 40 minutes it seemed like an easy task for United but Young Boys could easily be ahead at the break.

Matic gives the ball away this time and Aebischer squared for Pefok whose effort was blocked by Bailly and then Aebischer fired a low effort that had Henderson beaten but again a fine clearance from Bailly saved a goal.

GOAL FOR YOUNG BOYS! A fantastic finish from Rieder. No one can have saw that coming. Van de Beek gave the ball away 20 yards from goal and Rieder just had one touch to set himself up then curled an effort inside the top right hand corner.

A tricky corner into the front post from Aebischer but Henderson fisted away.

Great play from Greenwood dribbling along the by-line then putting the ball on a plate for Mata but his shot was saved by Faivre. He should have scored though.

GOAL FOR MAN UTD! And a fantastic finish from Mason Greenwood. Shaw crossed in from the left flank and with the ball behind him Greenwood flew backwards and hit a scissor kick into the corner of the net.

Mata put a ball over the top and a defender made a hash of a clearance and Amad coming over from the right hand side got behind the defence and got a shot in at goal which the goalkeeper saved comfortably.
