Bayern Munich will look to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday, March 8. Bundesliga champions Bayern hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg thanks to a goal from Kingsley Coman, so just need to avoid defeat to advance. PSG will be without Neymar as he is set to undergo ankle surgery.

Ten Hag claims Man Utd players 'did not do their jobs'

Julian Nagelsmann hopes Bayern Munich will play in the required "style" to beat Paris Saint-Germain and advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Speaking after his side returned to the top of the Bundesliga with a 2-1 win at Stuttgart at the weekend, Nagelsmann said Bayern's season could be judged on how they perform against PSG.
"For me, it's the manner and the style which matters.
"The result might depend on a few things - and we have the better chances (due to the 1-0 lead from the first leg) - but the style of our game is how the season will be seen.
"They're a very difficult team to beat - they're among the best teams in Europe."
PSG lost in the last 16 last season while Bayern have gone out in the quarters the last two years.

Messi eyeing 'great things' alongside Mbappe

PSG's Lionel Messi is full of belief his side can turn the tie around. On the eve of their trip to Munich, the Argentine great said: "We'll give everything to try to turn the tables on Bayern and qualify. That's everyone's objective.
"It's important to arrive at the match in this state of mind. Now we're going to Munich, where we're going to play a very tough match, very difficult, just like the first one.
"Everything will be decided on small details, especially as it is very difficult to win in their stadium. But I think that if we do things right, we are capable of turning things around. We want to continue our journey in the Champions League. And that's what we will try to do."
Messi also reflected on playing alongside Kylian Mbappe, and the World Cup final they shared together back in December.

"It's true that it was a breathtaking final," Messi said. "And the scenario of the match was completely crazy. Kylian scored three incredible goals in a final! So not being able to be champion after that was completely crazy.
"But he's already won it too, and he knows what it's like to be world champion. But yes, it was a great final for the football world.
"And now it's nice to be able to play in the same team with him, and I hope Kylian and I will do great things together here in Paris."
