Barnsley sign Brazilian

The 26-year-old has been on trial at Oakwell after leaving Charleroi at the end of last season and did enough to earn a two-year contract with the Championship side.

He has featured for the Tykes in their friendlies against Buxton, Rotherham and Wigan and will complete his move subject to receiving international clearance.

Reds manager Simon Davey told the club's official website: "After watching Dennis in Belgium, we invited him over for pre-season and he has impressed in his short time with us.

"We are delighted that we have been able to complete the deal and look forward to working with him for the next two seasons."
