Good evening and welcome to our live text coverage of the FIFA Club World Cup final match between Bayern Munich and Tigres from the Education City Stadium in Qatar. Bayern Munich are only appearing in the Club World Cup for the second time ever after beating PSG in last season's UEFA Champions League final. The last time they competed in the Club World Cup was 2013 when they were victorious against Raja Casablanca in the final. They beat Al Ahly 2-0 on Monday to book their place in the final. Bayern's opponents Tigres became the first CONCACAF side to reach the Club World Cup final thanks to wins over Ulsan Hyundai and Palmeiras. Their appearance in this tournament comes after their first ever CONCACAF Champions League win, for which they beat Los Angeles FC 2-1 in the final. We will be bringing you all the build-up, highlights and talking points from the match tonight, so stay tuned ahead of kick-off at 18:00.

FULL-TIME: Bayern Munich 1-0 Tigres
There's a couple late chances for Tigres but Bayern manage to hold on and complete the sextuple, becoming only the second team after Pep's Barcelona in 2009 to do the iconic achievement!
During their time in Qatar for the FIFA Club World Cup they haven't been their typical fluid Bayern team but that's understandable given fatigue, travel demands and the dry, bobbly pitches. In such a short space of time as Bayern manager, Hans-Dieter Flick has already achieved so much.

CHANCE!! Costa cuts in from the right wing and lays it off to Choupo-Moting - his fellow sub - but the Cameroonian sends it over the bar from close-range.

SAVED!!! Two brilliant stops from Guzman to deny Choupo-Moting!

ALMOST A DISASTER FOR TIGRES!! There's a mix-up between Salcedo and Guzman to deal with a wayward Bayern pass as Salcedo's header goes beyond Guzman and looks to be trickling into the goal but Guzman rushes back to stop it.

CLOSE!! Lovely flick on from Gonzales and Gignac attempts an acrobatic bicycle quick, but he seems to have misjudged the flight of the ball. Maybe a simple tap-in could have done...but another Puskas award nomination could have been tempting.

OFF THE POST!! Guzman tips Tolisso's long-range effort onto the post!

Finally a change made by Tuca, and it's an attacking one! Julian Quinones - a forward - comes on for the right-back Rodriguez.

The match has gone a bit stale after those changes. Wonder why Tigres haven't made any changes of their own despite being behind and likely on more tired legs given the extra game they had to play in this tournament.

More subs for Bayern! Eric Choupo-Moting, Jamal Musiala and Douglas Costa on for the trio of Lewandowski, Sane and Coman.
Could be a slightly premature attempt to conserve

Coman tricks Rodriguez before being heaved down near the touchline. Tigres really starting to let their frustration get the better of them. Gignac's face in particular is a picture.

Great ball from Gignac from a free-kick but Bayern eventually hack it away through Hernandez and Alaba. Shouts for handball yet again are brushed away by the referee.

Quinones tries to work his way into the box, but Pavard manages to keep him at bay despite hitting the deck. The ball appears to hit his hand while he's on the floor but the ref has a clear view of it and insists it's not a penalty.

GOAL!!! After a long VAR check, the referee adjudges that Lewandowski was in fact onside during the build-up to Pavard's strike and Bayern are finally 1-0 ahead!

ANOTHER GOAL DISALLOWED!!! Lewandowski rises to head Kimmich's pass, but collides slightly with Guzman. The ball falls to Pavard, who scores into an open net, but it's been ruled out for offside! Lightning has struck twice.

Good defending from Salcedo to put a stop to Gnabry's weaving run with a sliding challenge. Bayern just lacking that spark right now, and Lewandowski's largely been anonymous.

CLOSE!! Gnabry gets the ball on the edge of the area, drops his shoulder and tries to curl one in top bins but it's slightly over! He was leaning back a little mid-shot so that could be why.

Al Ahly won the penalty shootout earlier to beat Palmeiras to the bronze medal, but not after the latter's Roni had his penalty saved in rather embarrassing fashion...
